Youth Skilling

Youth skilling is the process of providing young people with the skills and training they need to succeed in the workforce. At MK Youth Initiative, we aim to empower youth through various skilling programs.

Target Audience

Ages 18-45 years

Objectives

We equip young individuals with the knowledge, skills, and competencies necessary to thrive in the professional world. This involves providing opportunities for learning and training to increase employability and enable them to contribute effectively to society.

Youth skilling programs cover a wide range of areas, including:

  • Technical skills development
  • Vocational training
  • Entrepreneurship education
  • Digital literacy
  • Soft skills such as communication, teamwork, and problem-solving

These programs are offered through various channels, including schools, vocational training centers, online platforms, and community-based initiatives. The ultimate goal of youth skilling is to empower young people, improve their economic prospects, and promote both social and economic development.

Key Accomplishments:

  1. We acquired an institute in Bugiri District for skilling programs in Eastern Uganda.
  2. We acquired an institute in Bushenyi District for skilling programs in Western Uganda.
  3. We also acquired another skilling center on Bombo Road.
